When Charles and I had this house built for us, we trusted the builders and tradesmen to do a complete and thorough job, but recently my housekeeper complained that there just were not enough sockets on the ground floor area. Perhaps it was my fault, I may have spent far too much time 'distracting' the guys from their work! So, Charles arranged for the electrician to call round to put things right, but it was his 19 year old apprentice that called. Of course, Charles was busy as usual, and left it up to me to ensure that the young man had 'everything' he needed. All the talk of 'male to female' insertions just got me so worked up - I couldn't help myself...
